Hey there, I’m Jenn… aka the Soul Filled Yogi!
I’m a 500HR E-RYT and YACEP. I have been teaching yoga for 4 years. I own Rochester Yoga in The Park, an Accredited Spiritual School (soulfilledyogi.com), teach locally at Midtown Athletic Club, and was the director of the Rochester Yoga Festival.
I enjoy being outdoors, gardening, meditation, and helping other spiritual business owners as a business coach and consultant. My biggest goals for the next year include writing a book, doing more public speaking and starting a charity-based business.
Some random facts about me… I have a massive crystal collection that I have been cultivating since childhood, and my favorite crystal is calcite — I love its diversity and many colors. The beach is my happy place. I am obsessed with bird animal totems. My favorite song is "Here Comes the Sun" by The Beatles. I have a love affair with french fries — I’m obsessed with comfort food!
My mission is to change the world through teaching people to fearlessly follow their heart and to move towards alignment with their souls’ light and purpose on the earth. My movement is for all to live life from the inside out. LET YOUR SOUL SHINE!
Hi, I’m Eva!
I'm an E-RYT with Yoga Alliance and have been teaching since 2006. I’ve trained with YogaFit,®, Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga, and Sadie Nardini. I currently teach around 15 sessions per week. Most of my classes are at the YMCA of Rochester and include all levels — from chair yoga to power yoga and private sessions as well! I even finished my Acro Yoga Teacher Training last week (yay!).
My classes are fun and filled with energy and are perfect for those who are new to yoga and those who would like to take their practice to the next level. I believe everyone can benefit from the power of yoga to strengthen, calm, and cultivate a deeper sense of self-awareness, well-being, and balance both on and off the mat.
On a personal note, I'm married with two awesome kids and do a little bookkeeping work on the side. I also can't get enough of wood-fired pizza or my three cats. :)
I grew up here in Rochester. I love the people and really love the yoga community. I had a blast the last time Soul Pose came to Rochester and am so excited it’s back! I loved how many people were there trying yoga for the first time. How cool is that?! The vibe Soul Pose brought created such a happy energy among the participants and I was thrilled to be a part of it. I love sharing with others what yoga has given me.
Hey, I’m Joanne!
I’m a board certified rehabilitation medicine doctor (MD), experienced registered yoga teacher (E-RYT), wellness consultant, and fitness enthusiast. To date, I have over 20,000 combined hours of teaching, training, practicing and continual education in yoga, fitness, and integrative wellness.
I’m passionate about exercise as prescription for healing. I am the founder and president of Fit2bWell Health, a wellness brand that focuses on inspiring movement for healthful living.
On the mat I have a foundation in Anusara Yoga and have continued to broaden my practice through Yoga for Seniors with Duke University, Iyengar Yoga for Scoliosis and Back Care, Baptiste Yoga for Athletes, Restorative Yoga Therapeutics, Aerial Yoga, Acroyoga and Thai Yoga Massage. Through these diverse pathways, I have established a vibrant and comprehensive approach to my Yoga journey and teaching. My philosophy of “movement for healthful living” is supported by my background in endurance sports, TRX, Spinning, Pilates, Barre, Aerials, Acroyoga and Hoop.
